Large-scale mapping or modeling projects can be notoriously difficult to track. The many stages in a production pipeline, the multiple teams (possible distributed around the globe), and the sheer number of production units can make the process frustrating when not done correctly and transparently.

Pelican uses common, online collaborative tools to drive end-to-end transpareny tracking of the production process.

• Simple tools. We leverage freely (or cheaply) available online technologies to keep everyone on the same page, no matter where they are or who they are. We eschew complex project management applications (that don't get the job done anyway) in favor of open, web-based task tracking software.
• Visibility. Giving the customer insight into the team's day-to-day progress makes the entire process go more smoothly.
• Interim deliveries. We're big believers in delivering early and often so we can adjust to changing requirements along the way.
